This one-day symposium brings together professionals, advocates, and community members to explore how to better support children, youth, and young adults who provide care to family members due to illness, disability, or other needs. Attendees will gain tools, insights, and connections to advance care and support systems.


The 2025 SEWICG Symposium will take place at the University of Wisconsin - Milwaukee on October 13, 2025!

The SEWICG Symposium ideal for healthcare professionals, healthcare administrators and leaders, social workers, counselors, community and social service professionals, and family caregivers.


Yes, parking is available for a fee at the following locations:

  • UWM Student Union Garage – 2200 E Kenwood Blvd
  • Lubar School of Business Garage – 3202 North Maryland Ave

Yes. 5.0 CEHs will be awarded to:

  • Licensed Social Workers
  • Licensed Professional Counselors (LPCs)
  • Marriage and Family Therapists (MFTs)

A Certificate of Attendance is available for all other disciplines.


Registration must be completed by September 29, 2025.
